Residential Treatment Center

High Frontier utilizes a variety of cognitive learning strategies incorporated through a systematic group therapy approach known as Positive Peer Culture. High Frontier promotes wellness through challenging distorted thinking patterns while promoting opportunities for the young person to demonstrate their self-worth. The positive aspects of human nature become the realized tool for problem resolution as the youth learn insight into the human condition. Altruism, acceptance, autonomy, and mastery are developed as the treatment process exposes and re-directs the unsuccessful means the youth employ to achieve a sense of belonging and/or independence. Residents are taught that only through the acceptance of responsibility may one develop the self-esteem necessary to face lifeÕs challenges and pursue happiness.
